This is a debate many people have. I eat meat. Probably about 1 or 2 times a week. Am I wrong for doing that. I don’t know for sure. But I believe I need the protein from red meat.

I use to think so too Mark but as it turns out there is plenty of protein in plant foods and the studies I’ve found have shown that animal protein in particular are very bad for our health.

Brilliant article! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The high protein stuff is a myth and “sustainable meat” is just a way to make people feel less guilty. I do think it’s possible to be healthy and eat a small amount of meat that is not treated with anything (although that is hard to find nowadays).

Your article and lots of documentaries I’ve watched make me a lot more conscious of my choices.

Yamil, I listened to your video with great interest. Every year our church do a Daniel Fast which is basically vegan, and I always feel so well on that diet that I always extend it for a further few months. It’s also beneficial for weight loss! So at this stage I combine meat for a few months, and then do vegan for a few months!
